Your website, it's only one (very important) part your digital strategy
Your website, search engine optimisation, PR, copywriting, photography and social media marketing are all important aspects of a digital marketing strategy. But, they all require a distinct set of skills. We focus on one part of it - the website itself.

We are a specialist, expert team who can do amazing website design and development, especially with the Craft CMS and Shopify platforms.
Specialists
We don’t want to be a jack of all trades agency, spreading ourselves too thin by doing all aspects of web design and digital marketing. In the past, we have dabbled with this, trying to do other things (there is a temptation to do this in order to appear ‘bigger’) but have eventually come full circle and realised it’s much better to focus on what we do best.
Getting the right team
Your website, search engine optimisation, PR, copywriting, photography and social media marketing are all important aspects of a digital marketing strategy. But, they all require a distinct set of skills. We focus on one part of it - the website itself.
Your website, although very important, is almost worthless without the other things. You could have the best website in the world but it’s pointless if no one visits it because you’ve done no PR and don’t rank in Google. Similarly, you could have a great PR campaign and get yourself to position 1 in Google, but if your website is terrible and people lose confidence when they see it it’s all a waste of time.
It’s just like Formula 1
You might think we’re over-egging it here but a good way to look at this is by thinking about how a motor racing team works. You have many critical aspects of a racing team e.g. the car, the driver, the pit team.
You can think of these as being like your website and digital marketing strategy:
- Your website is the car
- Search engine optimisation and PPC is like your pit team putting in the fuel and making sure all is running smoothly
- Your PR and marketing is your driver, implementing the strategy, making decisions and responding to racing conditions.
Each of these things is reliant on the other and the right blend is key.
Lewis Hamilton might be the best driver but if you put him in a Fiat Panda he’s not going to win any races. Likewise, put Maureen from Driving School (showing my age) in a Mercedes F1 car and you’re not going to get good results.
Using feedback for constant improvement
Communicating feedback to the other parts of the team is also critical for long-term success and improvement. For example, a driver might tell the pit team that the car’s steering needs adjusting for better performance. If you have a good SEO partner they will be doing something similar by constantly monitoring the performance of your website so any issues or opportunities for improvement can be identified and passed to your web team to be implemented.
In summary
We pride ourselves on being experts in website design and development (especially using Craft CMS and Shopify). We also pride ourselves and working together with other trusted partners so you can get excellent performance and results online. We have other agencies and individuals we work with a lot and can make recommendations as required. Or, we are happy to work with your own team if you have one.
