RedHouse Originals is an art gallery in Harrogate. They offer artwork by established international bluechip artists as well as emerging painters, printmakers and sculptors, showcasing the finest modern and contemporary art.
Initially established online, RedHouse has been actively involved in exhibition work since 2006, opening their Harrogate gallery in 2010.
WordPress with WooCommerce, selling across the globe
We originally built an ExpressionEngine eCommerce website for RedHouse Originals in 2012. We're pleased to say that we supported and developed that website over the years but the time came when it needed a refresh.
The website has complex content management requirements so WordPress with WooCommerse was a more suitable platform than Shopify (which was also considered).
The wide range of shapes, sizes and weight of products, all being shipped around the world meant that a flexible and intuitive method of handling shipping was essential.
